Develop your taste buds and get more out of your coffee.
A 3 hour sensory journey that's interactive, experiential and lots of fun. In this workshop we take a look at where coffee comes from and what happens along the way from farm to cup and how this influences the final taste.
We'll examine our own abilities to taste and start with some warm up exercises to awaken the taste buds. Can you identify some everyday flavours from a blind taste?
Finally we will taste 6 - 8 coffees from around the world, identifying the characteristics that make a coffee unique to a geographical region and how that translates into our cups.
